Authorize asphalt pothole repairs on private ways

The ordinance would require asphalt to fill potholes on private ways, replacing other materials and clarifying resurfacing or permanent construction for more than 25 percent of a private way. At the request of a majority of abutting property owners, the Public Works Commissioner could arrange the work with half the costs borne by owners. It becomes effective immediately upon passage.
